PAMS - a grade of waste paper, mostly used or unused magazines.

Paper Grades - paper is classified into different grades according to the end use, the pulp used and the treatment of the paper.

Paper / Board - as a general rule paper/board substances are up to 170 g/m2 - paper, over 170 g/m2 - board.

pH Value - a measure of the active acidity or alkalinity of a solution. A value of 7.0 is neutral.

Part Mechanical -A paper containing up to 50% mechanical pulp, with the remainder being made up of chemical pulp.

Poster Paper
- an MG grade with a quick drying surface used for outdoor poster work. The rough underside lends itself to rapid pasting.

Primer - coating applied to a material (usually a film or foil) before printing to assist adhesion of ink.

Profile - a graph showing the variations in grammage moisture content or other property from point to point on paper web, either across or along the machine direction.
